The Antidote To The Prince Of Appeasement

I don’t know about you, but I’m still feeling queasy following the Prince Of Appeasement’s love letter to Islam yesterday. So I thought that to counter the blatant misinformation that Obama offered about Israel, I’d post a sure fire antidote. I refer to the brilliant Joseph Farah. Farah is an Arab American journalist who has spent considerable time in the Middle East. His articles are always a joy to read – concise, clear, accurate and fair.

You will notice that one or two of them were written several years back. You’ll also note that they are every bit as relevant today as they were then.

Obama tells Jews where they can live

by Joseph Farah, World Net Daily, 2009

Barack Obama is taking what he and his administration refer to as “a more balanced approach to Middle East policy.”

Let me explain what that literally means in real terms.

It means the U.S. government is now using its clout with Israel to insist Jews, not Israelis, mind you, but Jews, be disallowed from living in East Jerusalem and the historically Jewish lands of Judea and Samaria, often referred to as the West Bank.

I want you to try to imagine the outrage, the horror, the outcry, the clamoring, the gnashing of teeth that would ensue if Arabs or Muslims were told they could no longer live in certain parts of Israel – let alone their own country.

Of course, that would never happen with “a more balanced approach to the Middle East.”

It’s the 1930s all over again. This time, it’s the enlightened liberal voices of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who are telling Jews where they can live, how they can live and how far they must bend if they want to live at all.

I know you haven’t heard it put like this before. I don’t really understand why. There is simply no other accurate way to explain the machinations behind the latest demands on Israel from the West and the rest of the world.

Israel is being reduced to “Auschwitz borders.” Jews have already been told they can no longer live in the Gaza Strip. Now they are being told they can no longer choose to live in any of the areas being set aside by international elites for a future Palestinian state.

Again, I ask, “Why would internationalists seek to create, by definition, a racist, anti-Jewish state that doesn’t even tolerate the mere presence of Jews?”

Can anyone answer that question for me?

Obama and Clinton – and, thus, by definition, you and me, the taxpayers of the United States – have determined they will yield to the racist, bigoted, anti-Semitic demands of the Palestinian Authority that no Jews be allowed to live in their new state.

I like to think that in any other part of the world, this kind of effort at ethnically cleansing a region would be roundly condemned by all civilized people. Yet, because most people simply don’t understand the clear, official plan by the Arab leaders to force out all Jews from the new Palestinian state, the policies of capitulation retain a degree of sympathy, even political support, from much of the world.

Think about what I am saying: It is the official policy of the Palestinian Authority that all Jews must get off the land! Why is the United States supporting the creation of a new, racist, anti-Semitic hate state? Why is the civilized world viewing this as a prescription for peace in the region? Why is this considered an acceptable idea?

Is there any other place in the world where that kind of official policy of racism and ethnic cleansing is tolerated – even condoned?

Why are the rules different in the Middle East? Why are the rules different for Arabs? Why are the rules different for Muslims?

Why are U.S. tax dollars supporting the racist, anti-Semitic entity known as the Palestinian Authority?

That’s what we do when we forbid “settlement construction,” repairs, natural growth, additions to existing communities.

This is “balance”? Are there any impositions upon the Arabs and Muslims suggesting they can no longer move to Israel? No. Are there any impositions on Arabs and Muslims suggesting they cannot buy homes in Israel? No. Are there any impositions on Arabs and Muslim suggesting they cannot repair their existing homes in Israel? No. Are there any impositions on Arabs or Muslims suggesting the cannot build settlements anywhere they like? No.

Now, keep in mind, there are already quite a few Arab and Muslim states in the Middle East. Many of them already forbid Jews to live in them. Some prohibit Christians as well. But now, the only Jewish state in the world, and one that has a claim on the land dating back to the days of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is being told Jews must keep off land currently under their own control, but destined for transfer to people who hate them, despise them, want to see them dead and will not even accept living peacefully with them as neighbors.

All the while, Israel continues to hold out its naïve hand of friendship to the Arabs and the Muslims – welcoming them in their own tiny nation surrounded by hateful neighbors. Arabs and Muslims are offered full citizenship rights – and even serve in elected office. They publish newspapers and broadcast on radio and television freely.

But, conversely, Jews are one step away from eviction from homes they have sometimes occupied for generations. Gaza is about to happen all over again.

I hope my Jewish friends remember this well. Many of them voted for Barack Obama. Many of them voted for Hillary Clinton. These are not your friends. These are the same kinds of people who turned away ships of Jewish refugees from Germany in the 1940s. These are the same kinds of people who appeased Adolf Hitler at Munich. These are the same kinds of people who made the reformation of the modern state of Israel so difficult.

I say, “No more ethnic cleansing. No more official anti-Semitism accepted. No more Jew-bashing. No more telling Jews where they can live, how they can – and if they can live.”

Obama Wooing Islam – By Promising To Hand Over Jerusalem

More on Obama’s apparent promises to deliver Israel to the Muslim world. Claims are now appearing that Obama has shown support for an end to Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel.

This just in, from World Net Daily

President Obama and his administration told Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during a meeting last week the U.S. foresees the creation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, according to a top PA official speaking to WND.

“The American administration was very friendly to the position of the PA,” said Nimer Hamad, Abbas’ senior political adviser.

Abu Mazen (Abbas) heard from Obama and his administration in a very categorical way that a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is in the American national and security interest,” Hamad said.

Another PA official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told WND today that Obama informed Abbas he would not let Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “get in the way” of ‘normalizing’ U.S. relations with the Arab and greater Muslim world.

Also in Cairo today, Abbas met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, where the Palestinian leader briefed Egypt’s president on his recent trip to Washington, saying the U.S. was committed to bringing about an end to Israeli construction in the West Bank.

Hamad’s comments about Jerusalem today come as controversy abounded regarding the U.S. position on Israel’s capital city.

Last week, the State Department refuted a speech in which Netanyahu said Jerusalem never will be divided.

“Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” Netanyahu said at an event marking Jerusalem’s reunification. “Jerusalem was always ours and will always be ours. It will never again be partitioned and divided.”

In response, the State Department released a statement that Jerusalem “is a final status issue.”

“Israel and the Palestinians have agreed to resolve its status during negotiations. We will support their efforts to reach agreements on all final status issues,” the statement said.

Also last week, a top Palestinian Authority official claimed in a WND interview that the Obama administration told the PA that Jerusalem will never be united under Israeli sovereignty.

“Americans said an open Jerusalem – yes. But a united Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty – no,” Hatem Abdel Khader, the PA’s minister for Jerusalem affairs, said in comments to both WND and Israel’s Ynetnews website.

“(The Obama administration) has made clear that Jerusalem must be accessible to everyone – but not united under Israel’s rule,” Khader said.

Khader told WND, “The Americans are very present on the ground, and they are making pressure over Israeli authorities and even municipalities.”

“They are acting according to the concept that the failure to establish a Palestinian state would jeopardize U.S. national security interests – and without Jerusalem there is no Palestinian state,” he said.

Khader’s claim the U.S. is helping the Palestinians gain a foothold in Jerusalem is accurate. In April, WND reported that under intense American pressure and following a nearly unprecedented behind-the-scenes U.S. campaign, the Netanyahu government has decided not to bulldoze Palestinian homes built illegally on Jewish-owned property in Jerusalem.

The issue is critical since the 80 homes in question are located in Silwan, an eastern Jerusalem neighborhood close to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem’s Old City that the Palestinians claim as a future capital. Jewish groups have been working to fortify the community’s Jewish presence. Silwan is adjacent to the City of David, a massive archeological dig just outside the Temple Mount that is constantly turning up Temple artifacts.

Like tens of thousands of other Arab housing projects throughout eastern Jerusalem, the Palestinian homes in Silwan were illegally constructed on property long ago purchased by Jews. The Israeli government ordered the structures’ legal demolition.

But during a visit here in early March, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton strongly protested the planned bulldozing.

“Clearly this kind of activity is unhelpful and not in keeping with the obligations entered into under the Road Map,” she said. “It is an issue that we intend to raise with the government of Israel and the government at the municipal level in Jerusalem.”

The Road Map calls for Israel to freeze Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank but does not bar Israel from dismantling illegally constructed Palestinian homes in Jerusalem.

WND learned that in the weeks since Clinton’s visit here, the U.S. mounted an intensive campaign lobbying the Israeli government against tearing down the illegal Palestinian homes in Silwan. The campaign included letters from the Middle East section of the State Department addressed to various Jerusalem municipalities, with copies of the letters sent to the offices of Israel’s prime minister and foreign minister. The letters called on Israel to allow the illegal Palestinian homes in Silwan to remain and stated any demolitions would not foster an atmosphere of peace.

Also, in a follow-up visit here, State Department officials made it clear to their Israeli counterparts the U.S. opposes the Silwan bulldozing.

According to sources in the Israeli government, including in Netanyahu’s administration, a decision has been made not to bulldoze the illegal Palestinian homes. The sources said the issue of the homes may be raised again in the future, but for the time being the houses will remain intact.

The sources attributed the decision against the bulldozing – which has not yet been announced – to the intense American campaign against the house demolitions.

Said one source in Netanyahu’s administration, “This was very frustrating to us. Can you imagine if a foreign government came in and told a city office in the U.S. not to tear down a house that was illegally constructed on someone else’s property?”

While Clinton opposed the Palestinian house demolitions, informed Israeli officials said the Obama administration is carefully monitoring Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and has already protested to the highest levels of Israeli government about evidence of housing expansion in those areas.

The officials, who spoke on condition that their names be withheld, said that last month Obama’s Mideast envoy, George Mitchell, oversaw the establishment of an apparatus based in the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem that closely monitors eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods, incorporating regular tours on a daily basis.

The officials said that in recent meetings Mitchell strongly protested Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem. Mitchell also condemned the work of nationalist Jewish groups to purchase property in Jerusalem’s Old City, including in areas intimately tied to Judaism.

Israel recaptured eastern Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount – Judaism’s holiest site – during the 1967 Six Day War.

The Palestinians, however, have claimed eastern Jerusalem as a future capital. About 244,000 Arabs live in Jerusalem, mostly in eastern neighborhoods, out of a total population of 724,000, the majority Jewish.

And so it begins. The slow but sure dismantling of the Jewish homeland. Note the false premise that has clearly been accepted by Obama: namely, that it is Israel which is ‘getting in the way’ of American-Arab and American-Muslim relations.

Just as Hitler convinced the German people that it was ‘only the jews’ that were preventing Germany from being great again, so now Obama is suggesting that it is ‘only Israel’ that is stopping America from having a good relationship with the Muslim world.

I mean, it’s not as though the Muslim world consists of barbaric theocracies that view America as ‘the great satan’ or anything like that, is it…?

If G-d forbid Israel vanished tomorrow, the Muslim world would still loathe America and all it stands for. Obama’s treachery would all have been for nothing. And the sole democracy in the Middle East, Israel, would have paid the ultimate price for appeasing the vile creed that is Islam, the ‘religion of peace’.

BBC Set To Pay £30,000 To Muslim Council Of Britain

Just when I started to think that the BBC might have the balls to stand up to Islam, it transpires that the corporation is set to pay the Muslim Council Of Britain a whopping £30,000. Why? Because on Question Time, Former Daily Telegraph editor, Charles Moore, ‘slurred’ the Council.

And what was the terrible thing Moore said, precisely?

Answer: he stated that the MCB has failed to condemn attacks on soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Moore’s remarks came during a debate about the Islamic protests which recently ruined a soldiers’ homecoming parade in Luton. The MCB then threatened the BBC with legal action.

Mr Moore blamed the MCB’s leadership for its apparent reluctance to condemn the killing and kidnapping of British soldiers overseas. He went on to claim that the MCB thought it was a ‘good thing’ to kill troops.

When the MCB first threatened to pursue legal action, the BBC offered to make a public apology on the Question Time website. The MCB rejected this and is now demanding a live apology on air.

A BBC source said the move has angered Mr Moore, who was not consulted over the legal response to the complaint or even informed that an offer to settle had been made.

Question Time is recorded an hour before it is actually shown, precisely so that lawyers can check the content for possible problems. None of the legal advisors raised flags over Mr Moore’s comments.

Charles Moore said: ‘The Muslim Council of Britain, which is the umbrella organisation for all Muslim groups in this country, I’ve gone to them many times, and I said will you condemn the killing and kidnapping of British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they won’t.

‘But there is a bigger, another step that they take, they say it is actually a good thing, even an Islamic thing, to kill or kidnap British soldiers.’

The MCB rejected Mr Moore’s claims as a ‘total lie’. It then instructed libel lawyers Carter-Ruck, who wrote a formal letter of complaint.

The MCB is also involved in a separate row with M.P. Hazel Blears. This one is between MCB deputy secretary general Dr Daud Abdullah and Miss Blears, and centres on a document relating to the recent conflict in Gaza which was signed by Dr Abdullah.

In March, Miss Blears interpreted the document as justifying attacks on the Royal Navy and wrote to The Guardian to explain her concerns.

A solicitor’s letter was sent on behalf of Dr Daud Abdullah demanding she pay £75,000 by last month or face full legal proceedings. But she refused to do so and no further correspondence has been received.

Islamic Terrorists Target Moroccan Jews

Moroccan Muslims are a tad excited.  Having seen their co religionists in Yemen finally force out the tiny Jewish community there, they seek to accomplish the same thing in Morocco:

From Agence France-Presse, May 21:

RABAT (AFP) — A group of  Islamists recently arrested in Morocco planned to attack Jewish interests in the country, a court source said Thursday, citing the charges against them.

The suspects, alleged to be members of a cell that was part of the radical Islamist movement Salafia Jihadia, were also preparing attacks against Moroccan security services, the source said.

The cell — Jamaat Al Mourabitine Al Jodod, or New Fighters Group — allegedly began operating in March 2008 in southern Morocco and sought to recruit militants from Koranic schools with the intention of infiltrating political parties.

Authorities announced their arrest on May 12 and they face charges including forming a criminal gang with the aim of carrying out “terrorist” acts. They are being held in jail.

“Police dismantled the cell as part of a regular operation in the battle against terrorism,” the court source said.

Jews have been living in Morocco since the time of Antiquity. Prior to WWII, the Jewish population of Morocco reached 225,000.

But life in Morocco was not without its problems. In 1943 a series of  pogroms occurred. And in June 1948,  forty-four Jews were murdered during riots in Oujda and Djerada.  Also in that year,  an unofficial economic boycott was instigated against Moroccan Jews.

In 1965, Moroccan writer Said Ghallab had this to say about the feelings of his fellow Muslims towards Jews:

The worst insult that a Moroccan could possibly offer was to treat someone as a Jew.

My childhood friends have remained anti-Jewish. They hide their virulent anti-Semitism by contending that the State of Israel was the creature of Western ‘imperialism’

A whole Hitlerite myth is being cultivated among the populace. The massacres of the Jews by Hitler are exalted ecstatically. It is even credited that Hitler is not dead, but alive and well, and his arrival is awaited to deliver the Arabs from Israel.

And this is hardly surprising. For the Quran is replete with anti semitism. Mohammed may have started off by wooing Jews in a bid to convert them to his new faith, but the second they declined, his ‘love’ turned to hate and Islamic anti semitism was born.

Author Andrew Bostom (The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism) presents  an enormous amount of documentary evidence testifying to the humiliations Jews experienced at the hands of Muslims.

Bostom also points out  that the extremist, Jihadist description of Jews as “apes and pigs,” in accord with the Qur’an, has historical precedent.

Indeed, Muhammad himself used it before ordering that every adult male of the Banu Qurayza, a Jewish tribe, be killed, calling the Jews “you brothers of monkeys.”

And Zaynu’d-Din Ali b Said, praised the anti-Jewish riots and massacres in Baghdad in 1291 (which spread widely in the region), saying, “These apish Jews are done away and destroyed.”

Bostom also references another slaughter:

Referring to the Jews as “brothers of apes,” who repeatedly blasphemed the prophet Muhammad, and whose overall conduct reflected their hatred of Muslims, the Moroccan cleric al-Maghili (d. 1505) fomented, and then personally led, a Muslim pogrom (in ~1490) against the Jews of the southern Moroccan oasis of Touat, plundering and killing Jews en masse, and destroying their synagogue in neighboring Tamantit. Al-Maghili’s virulent Islamic antisemitism was perhaps captured best in a line from a verse diatribe he composed: “Love of the Prophet requires hatred of the Jews.”

“Love of the Prophet requires hatred of the Jews.”

Muslim Chef Accuses Police Of ‘Religious Discrimination’ – Because He Was Asked To Cook Pork

Have you heard the latest from Dhimmiland UK?

A Muslim chef is suing Britain’s largest police force, claiming he suffered religious discrimination –  because he was asked to cook bacon and pork sausages for breakfast.

Hasanali Khoja is due to put his case against the Metropolitan Police before an employment tribunal. The ten day hearing begins tomorrow.

And Mr Khoja’s case is being supported by the Assocation Of Muslim Police and also the National Black Police Assocation. Khoja insists that he was refused permission to avoid handling pork, while working as a catering manager at a West London police HQ.

Personally, I think columnist Richard Littlejohn sums it up rather well: “There are some stories which are so preposterous on so many levels that it is difficult to know where to start.

“Whoever heard of a chef being excused pork? Naturally, he now wants a large sum of money by way of compensation. The Met has a long and undistinguished record of grovelling to this kind of opportunist bullying.

“What astonishes me is that he ever applied for a job cooking for policemen in the first place. What, precisely, did he think they serve up in a police canteen – vegetarian samosas?”

Funny how you never hear of British Hindus, Jews, Sikhs, or Pagans kicking up a fuss and howling about ‘religious discrimination’, isn’t it? But then, members of these faiths don’t have a nasty and frankly duplicitous habit of freely choosing to work in a SECULAR arena, then protesting when their RELIGIOUS sensibilities are offended.

The case should be slung out of court. Of course, this being Britain, no doubt the chef will win, be paid damages, and then laugh all the way to the Mosque.

Some people have suggested that the whole thing looks like a set up. I can’t disagree.   This man knew that, at some point, he’d be required to handle pork. Yet he took the job despite this – no doubt biding his time. Now he’s set to be rewarded for this deceit.

And where are all the dissenting cries from other British Muslims…?  Oh, silly me. There aren’t any. All of the so-called ‘moderate’ Muslims seem to vanish the very second their voices most need to be heard.

What the BBC and The Guardian Never Tell You

During, and ever since, Operation Cast Lead, the British media has repeatedly stated that ‘only 13 Israelis have died through Palestinian terrorism’. Indeed, it is on the basis of this piece of MISinformation that numerous people have condemned Israel for responding with ‘disproportionate’ force to the rocket attacks from Gaza.

But as we all know, the media can and does massage the facts, when it suits them. And my, how it has suited them in this instance.
For the reality is that Israel endured a staggering eight years of Palestinian terrorism prior to Operation Cast Lead. Hamas, in particular, has been busy targetting innocent civilians for years now – and the world, and the world media, didn’t give a damn.

So let’s dispense with this nonsense about ‘only 13 Israelis died’. Quite apart from anything, even if this was true, Israel would still have been both morally and legally entitled to retaliate. As it happens, there are many more Israeli victims – many of them young children and teenagers. Well, that’s hardly surprising. Hamas openly boasts about targetting innocents.

Here is a partial list of the Israelis who have been murdered by Palestinian, Arab and Islamic terrorists in the past few years. Next time someone states that ‘only 13 Israelis died’, do enlighten them.

Muslim Scholar: ‘Jews Are The Cause Of All The Pigs In The World’

This would be laughable if not for the fact that millions of Muslims will believe it. A new edict just published in Egypt has announced that the source of all the world’s pigs is – get this – Jews.

Yep. Jews – the very people who don’t consume pork – are the cause of the world’s pig population.

Well, glad we cleared that up…

The new edict was issued by Sheikh Ali Osman, a religious scholar from the Egyptian Waqf ministry, who stated that Jews are ‘cursed by Allah’, hence the appearance of all the pigs.

Due to their ‘jewish roots’, pigs are fair game and can be slaughtered, according to Sheikh Osman. Oh, and he adds that this accounts for why Islam bans pork, as well.

Some scholar.  Judaism was, as most  folk know, the first faith to declare that pork must not be eaten. The same prohibition is present in Islam purely because old Mohammed nicked a fair few things from Judaism!

There have already been claims from some Muslims that Jews are the ’cause’ of Swine Flu. But then, are any of us surprised at this lunacy? After all, Let’s Blame The Jews has been a favoured Muslim game throughout history.

Jacqui Smith Strikes Again – UK Home Secretary Bans US Radio Personality

Good G-d, is there no end to the stupidity of this woman?

First she banned Dutch politician Geert Wilders, purely on the basis that British Muslims threatened to riot,  and now she’s gone and banned America’s third most popular Radio personality, Michael Savage.

Savage was astonished to find his name appearing on a list of people banned from Britain. The other people named are all extremists who have called for genocide against Jews and for Jihad against the West.

.

Michael Savage: US talkshow host to sue Jacqui Smith over ban from Britain

The Home Office said Mr Savage might ‘provoke others to serious criminal acts’ Photo: AP

Mr Savage, whose daily show has an audience of millions, condemned “the country of Magna Carta” for “cowardly and distorted liberalism”.

And he quipped: ” I was just planning a trip to England for their superior dental work and cuisine,” he told WorldNetDaily.

Savage has now urged his millions of listeners to boycott British goods. He is also taking legal advice and says he’s considering suing Jacqui Smith.

“It’s interesting to me that here I am a talk show host, who does not advocate violence, who advocates patriotic traditional values … and I’m now on a list banned in England,” Mr Savage said. “What does that say about the government of England? It says more about them than it says about me.”

The Home Office said Mr Savage, 67, might “provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred which might lead to inter-community violence”.

Right… And what about the numerous Muslim clerics who are busy preaching hate in Mosques across the country…? Not to mention … who has been let out of prison early and is now at liberty to spread his hateful views?

But no. Instead of dealing with the real problem of Islamic extremism, Jacqui Smith is far too busy persecuting men like Wilders and Savage, who actually have the guts to speak the truth about Islam.  And if Savage does end up suing Smith, who will foot the bill? Why, us, of course! The British tax payers. Call that justice?

And for those of you wondering who else is on the list, along with Michael Savage, they include: Stephen Donald Black, a former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard who set up a racist website; Fred Waldron Phelps, a pastor who is known for picketing the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq, claiming their deaths are divine punishment for society’s tolerance of homosexuality, and his daughter Shirley.

By placing Michael Savage on the same list as dangerous Muslim extremists, Jacqui Smith demonstrated – again – that she is an utter fool.  Feel free to write to her and convey your dismay at her latest idiocy. I have.

Denmark Turns Dhimmi – And Bans Geert Wilders

Has Denmark caved and banned Dutch MP Geert Wilders? Wilders, you will recall,  caused an international furore when he made the film ‘Fitna’, which exposes the violence at the heart of Islam.

Britain shamefully banned Wilders – now reports are coming in that Denmark has done the same and cancelled a conference on free speech to which Wilders was invited by the Danish People’s Party.

The conference was scheduled for February, then delayed until June, the Copenhagen Post reports: “But now, according to information received by Berlingske Tidende newspaper, the conference has been delayed again because of government’s concern over Geert Wilders.”

The Danish Foreign Ministry fears Muslims will not attend a climate conference in Denmark if Wilders is permitted to warn about the dangers of Islam at the free-speech conference.

But let’s recall just what happened when Britain banned Wilders. Wilders had been invited to screen Fitna at the House Of Lords. Problems only arose after several Muslim pressure groups approached Lord Ahmed, a Muslim peer. Ahmed then threatened to ‘mobilise’ ten thousand Muslims ‘in protest’ if Wilders was allowed to set foot in the House of Commons.

Much to the disbelief and anger of millions of Brits, home secretary Jacqui Smith caved – and banned Wilders from entering the UK. Oh, and one more detail: a mere two weeks earlier, Wilders was in Britain. Clearly the only thing that changed in the intervening fourteen days was the temper tantrum thrown by Lord Ahmed.

Let’s also note that for the past few years, Wilders has been living under the shadow of the ‘fatwa’ issued; numerous Muslim death threats, in fact, have been hurled his way. He has to change addresses every few days and has a 24 hour guard.

Yet the British border agency said it was Wilders who threatened harmony and public security!

France has also shown itself to be a nation of Dhimmis. The French Association for the Defense of Human Rights announced that it wanted the authorities to prosecute Wilders for “hate speech.”

‘hate speech’???  All Wilders did was cite the Quran.

Happily, there are still some places on this planet that are willing to stand up to Islam. In April, Wilders received a free-speech award from the Florida Security Council at the group’s Free Speech Summit, where he explained precisely what Islam is and isn’t:

“The take-over of Europe is part of the global fight of Islam for world domination. Islam is not a religion. It is a political ideology. Islam’s heart lies in the Quran. The Quran is a book that calls for hatred, violence, murder, terrorism, war and submission. The Quran calls upon Muslims to kill non-Muslims. The Quran describes Jews as monkeys and pigs. Churchill compared the Quran to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf. The core of the problem with the Quran is twofold. First, the commands in the Quran are not limited by place or time, they apply for all time, to all Muslims. Second, the Quran is Allah’s personal word. That leaves no room for interpretation.

Therefore, there is no such thing as a moderate Islam. Of course, there are many moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. As the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan once put it, “There is no moderate Islam, Islam is Islam.”

As if to affirm Wilders’ depiction of Islam, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)demanded that Florida’s state Rep. Adam Hasner, who co-hosted the event, resign his post as Republican leader in the Sunshine State’s House of Representatives.

Note: CAIR was an unindicted coconspirator in the federal government’s successful prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development for its funding the terror group Hamas.

British Airline Deletes Israel From Map – To Please Muslims

.

One can only despair upon hearing news like this.  It’s now come to light that British airline BMI  removed Israel from an electronic map that appears on its flights.

Why? Yep, you guessed it: to avoid angering Muslim passengers.

BMI’s London-Tel Aviv flights, Israel and most of its cities are not marked. Only Haifa was identified – by its Arab name, Khefa.

BMI has now apologised for this, and ‘explained’ that the map was acquired from an airline that flew to several Arab states.

BMI now says it will provide revised maps for its twice daily flights to Israel.

BMI also said it was making every effort not to hurt passengers’ feelings by adopting a nonpolitical position.

Oh, well, that’s all right then…

BMI operates flights from England to several Muslim destinations, including Syria, Lebanon and Iran, but has also recently launched an agreement with the Tourism Ministry to add Israel to its roster.

You may recall that this is the same airline that recently fired a female crew member – for refusing to wear traditional Islamic garb and walk behind male colleagues while briefly in Saudi Arabia.

If Muslims started complaining that it upset them to have Jewish passengers on the same flights, would BMI ban Jews – in order to remain ‘non political’ and avoid angering their beloved Muslim customers…?

Ilan Halimi: Anti Semitism Was The Motive

.

This is a follow up post to the previous one on the tragic death of Ilan Halimi at the hands of a Muslim mob. Apparently in France, the media and police tried desperately hard to hide details which revealed that anti semitism was the motive behind the murder – not, as police tried to claim, financial gain.

We have to place this horrendous murder in the context of sharply rising anti semitism within France over recent years. Indeed, hundreds of Jews have already left France precisely because of this problem.

Here are more details on the Ilan Halimi case and the motive underlying it:

Nidra Poller in The Wall Street Journal

PARIS — The police suspect the group was involved in other kidnapping attempts in the last two months that used young women as bait. Several of the targeted men worked, as Ilan did, in the small cell phone shops along Boulevard Voltaire in the mixed 11th arrondissement of Paris.

In another case, a suspicious father replaced his son for a meeting with a girl who claimed to be a singer, and fell into the hands of masked men who tried to capture him but ran away when someone called the police.

Throughout Ilan’s disappearance, the police handled his case as a straightforward kidnap for ransom. The discovery of his body, bearing signs of barbaric torture over an extended period of time, raised serious doubts about this hypothesis.

Later, a policeman admitted to the press that he and his colleagues were baffled by the gang’s erratic behavior. Ransom demands went up to €400,000, dropped to €100,000 one day, €5,000 another. The kidnappers called off several pickup arrangements, acting like amateurs, but were highly sophisticated in using untraceable emails and cell phones.

* * *

Yet one detail was consistently played down by the investigators and missing from the early media reporting on the killing. The victim, whose full name is Ilan Halimi, was Jewish. Most of the men targeted in other kidnapping attempts were Jewish.

Most members of the gang who allegedly carried out the crime are Muslims, whose families come from the Maghreb or sub-Saharan Africa and live in the very sort of neighborhoods that went up in flames during three weeks of nationwide rioting last fall.

Jewish community leaders like Roger Cukierman, president of the Conseil Représentatif des Institutions Juives de France, an umbrella group for the country’s 600,000 Jews, cautioned against hasty conclusions and unreasonable panic. But French Jews have become sensitive to a well-documented rise in violent Muslim anti-Semitism over the past five years and saw anti-Semitism as the missing link in this senseless crime.

After all, Ilan’s family is simple and modest. Ruth Halimi, works as a receptionist. Why else, people are asking, would Ilan be tortured so cruelly for so long? No other motive, aside from sheer hatred, is apparent.

After Ilan was found on Feb. 13, the pieces started to fall into place quickly. When the police put out a sketch of a blond woman who had tried to bait other young men in similar circumstances as Ilan Halimi’s, Audrey Lorleach turned herself in. She led police to a housing project in Bagneux, a suburb in Hauts-de-Seine.

Fifteen suspects in the Halimi murder, who call their gang the “Barbarians,” were brought into custody. Youssouf Fofana, who refers to himself (in English) as the “Brain of the Barbarians,” is the apparent ringleader.

Ilan was held prisoner and abused in an apartment and later a utility room in the cellar in one of the project buildings. Both were lent to the gang by the concierge, who is also now in custody. Some in the gang were known delinquents. Mr. Fofana, who is 26, had served time for armed robbery. But another member was in on-the-job training in the IT service of a French TV station.

In initial statements to the press, Public Prosecutor Jean-Claude Marin and various police officials stuck to their hypothesis that money was the motive for the crime, not anti-Semitism.

They noted that Ilan Halimi had been tortured as if the gang were following “a known scenario.” Photos of Ilan, naked, with a sack on his head and a gun pointed at his temple were emailed to family members suggesting, according to the police, “scenes of torture at Abu Ghraib. As it turns out, the beheading of Daniel Pearl or Iraqi snuff films are the better comparison.

An anonymous police detective quoted in Monday’s edition of Libération said: “It’s simply that, for those criminals, Jew equals money.”

Later that same day, investigating magistrate Corinne Goetzmann detained seven of the suspects on charges of kidnapping, sequestration, torture, acts of barbarism and premeditated murder in an organized gang.

They will also be charged with targeting the victim on the basis of his religion, French for hate crime, which carries a stiffer penalty. Justice Minister Pascal Clément explained that the charge of anti-Semitism was based on the fact that one of the suspects had declared to the judge that they picked a Jew because Jews are ‘supposed to be rich.’

But, according to reports in the French press, some of the suspects in police custody said that they tortured Ilan with particular cruelty simply because he was Jewish.

No longer able to deny or play down the racial motive, the investigation is entering a new phase. One of the most troubling aspects of this affair is the probable involvement of relatives and neighbors, beyond the immediate circle of the gang, who were told about the Jewish hostage and dropped in to participate in the torture.

Ilan’s uncle Rafi Halimi told reporters that the gang phoned the family on several occasions and made them listen to the recitation of verses from the Quran, while Ilan’s tortured screams could be heard in the background.

The family has publicly criticized the police for deliberately ignoring the explicit anti-Semitic motives, which were repeatedly expressed and should have dictated an entirely different approach to the case from the start. Police searches have now revealed the presence of Islamist literature in the home of at least one of the gang members.

The highest echelons of the French government are now preoccupied with the murder of Ilan Halimi. Paris is well aware that the case threatens France’s international reputation, but far more than that is at stake. Once again, as in the suburban riots of 2005, the country is forced to come face to face with the criminalized, alienated and racist Muslim youth and their adult enablers in its midst.

Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin declared, in a long speech delivered at the annual dinner of the CRIF, that this heinous crime was anti-Semitic, and that anti-Semitism is not acceptable in France.

The murder of Ilan Halimi invites comparison with the November 2003 killing of a Jewish disc jockey, Sébastien Selam. His Muslim neighbor, Adel, slit his throat, nearly decapitating him, and gouged out his eyes with a carving fork in his building’s underground parking garage. Adel came upstairs with bloodied hands and told his mother, “I killed my Jew, I will go to paradise.”

In the two years before his murder, the Selam family was repeatedly harassed for being Jewish. The Selam case has not been re-opened by the magistrate. The murderer, who admits his guilt, was placed in a psychiatric hospital, and may be released soon.

The initial response to the kidnapping of Ilan Halimi suggested a comparably selective ignorance. But many things have changed in French society in the past two years. Then, faced with the new tide of anti-Semitism, the Jewish community was left alone with its distress and at times even accused of being justifiably targeted because of its support for Israel.

Today the government has apparently decided that the barbarous hatred unleashed against one Jewish man is a threat to all of France.
