IRAN: 'THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL'

Some people insist that Iranian despot Ahmadinejad ‘doesn’t really mean it ‘ when he vows to destroy Israel. It’s just rhetoric, they claim.
Meanwhile, Mahmoud himself is still cheerfully looking forward to ridding the world of the ‘evil zionist entity’.
Indeed, in 2005, he even sponsored an entire conference dedicated to the topic: The World Without Israel. At this jolly gathering of the planet’s biggest Jew haters, Mahmoud declared:
‘Anybody who recognises Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury while any Islamic leader who recognises the zionist regime is acknowledging the surrender and defeat of the Islamic world.’
Ahmadinejad also repeated the words of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who called for the destruction of Israel. “As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map.’
Bizarrely, Ahmadinejad referred to Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza as a “trick” saying: ‘Gaza is part of the Palestinian territories and the withdrawal was meant to make Islamic states acknowledge Israel.’
Some ‘trick’! It resulted in over 6000 missiles raining down on Israel and numerous fatalities of innocent Israeli civilians! And let’s not forget the increased number of Hamas suicide bombings as well.
But see the double bind Israel gets placed in?
When she does what the Palestinians and indeed the Arabs have been demanding, and exits Gaza, she’s accused of ‘playing tricks’. And if she’d refused to leave Gaza, we all know Mahmoud would have jubiliantly announced that this was ‘evidence of the zionist expansionist regime.’
One thing’s for sure. If Maniacal Mahmoud completes his nuclear project as soon as Israeli intelligence estimates, then Israel will be in serious trouble. As will the rest of the free world. ****************************************************************
